Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz noodles (such as spaghetti or udon)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, water, cornstarch, and ginger.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Pour the sauce over the beef. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Add cooked noodles and toss to coat. Garnish with green onions.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for less grease.
- Adjust soy sauce and sugar to taste.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra crunch.
