Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring Mongolian ground beef and noodles, perfect for a weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz noodles (such as spaghetti or udon)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, water, cornstarch, and ginger.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  5. Pour the sauce over the beef. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Add cooked noodles and toss to coat. Garnish with green onions.
